Glass, acrylic paint
29.6 x 21 x 0.4cm
Edition of 10
The subtle intervention of pigment applied to glass interacts with shifting light conditions, attuning attention to a sense of movement and time as well as the architectural divide between inside and out. This beautiful work has been handpainted by the artist and is designed to stand against a window allowing natural light to pass through.
The edition was produced to coincide with Antoni Malinowski's contribution to Conversation Pieces as part of Shelagh Wakely: A View From A Window at Camden Arts Centre 13 July 2014 - 28 September 2014. Antoni Malinowski was artist-in-residence and had a solo exhibition in 1994.
Antoni Malinowski lives and works in London.
